I Love Technology, but not as much as you you see...

I have to write to express my joy at how Greg is able to fix or replace every single electronic thing I break or lose. The most recent electronic salvation was for my phone. I have a lovely little white palm centro, and all of a sudden, today, it decided not to have any internal sound. I could receive calls and the phone would ring, but when I answered no one could hear me, and I couldn't hear them. It was quite a predicament and made talking on the phone quite limited. Anyway, turns out something went wrong with the programming and some other babble that I wouldn't understand, but my wonderful husband fixed it before I had even finished making dinner....and now my little phone works again. And for all of you who got the title reference, he did actually sing me that song after he finished fixing my phone, which I have to say was an added bonus.

Sad Kitty

This is the pathetic cat who Greg has dubbed, "Sad Kitty." Sad Kitty showed up just over a week ago and has greeted our return home each evening with great enthusiasm. She has adopted us. Every night when our truck pulls in our driveway she runs to meet us, purring and rubbing against us. Then, she follows us to our backdoor and expects to come in with us. When she doesn't get let in...well...you can see the picture, those are our backsteps...what you cannot see, or hear (you lucky people) is the crying that she keeps up for about an hour after we have gone into the house without her. It is very sad, because we think she is very sweet, but we can't have her in the house...and that's really the only thing that stops us from letting her in...poor pathetic little thing. If anyone in the area is looking for a beautiful, sweet, doting faithful cat...sad kitty is yours...we are sorry...but we just can't have her. Sorry sad kitty.

Surprise, I'm writing again

So I guess I didn't set any sort of precedent with the last post, since I haven't even written anything yet for the new year. Oh well, I'm a prodigal blogger, and you are just going to have to get used to it.

Since Christmas life has moved along at too quick a pace for my liking. First of all, I had no idea that the time of year I consider dying season for plants is actually planting season in florida. Planting season is from September to February down here! Anyway, I barely planted my beans and peas on time! They are doing quite well and are enjoying the uncharacteristically cold weather we have been having. It is so chilly down here. I wouldn't mind at all if my house was a little warmer! Oh well...soon I'll be begging to have this weather back, so I best not complain.

We celebrated a belated Valentines day, but I still got roses, and made very pretty sugar cookies with pink frosting, red sugar sprinkles, and coconut flakes. They were pretty yummy.

In other news, I've had the flu for the past couple days, but it seems to have subsided this evening. Apart from that I'm doing well, even if Lindsay Jacobellis was beaten by a Canadian in women's snowboard cross yesterday...what a disappointment. I'm just hoping for some redemption from the Vermont women in halfpipe tomorrow. Sigh.

Well, I guess that's it. I'm not making any more promises about intended faithfulness...
